Sciescent

As people of faith, each living within our diverse Church communities, we have already pledged to live by the moral standards of the Churches we attend.  But our faith is much more than the essential moral message we learn on a Sunday mornings.  A Sciescent Faith takes us well beyond Sundays, and into the details of how we face modern-life's complex challenges.  Within the Sciescent Faith Community we are called first to explore, then to embrace the truth, and finally to stand firm and unwavering on God's logical truths.

God's logical truths are obvious when you seek His will.  In the beginning, God perfectly designed the universe and our world to support humanity. And for millennia, humanity survived. In the beginning, God perfectly designed our bodies and every system in it to insure our survival.  And for many eras, individual lives were defined not in decades but in centuries. Today, our life choices foolishly disregard those original designs at our peril.  We blindly accept popular lies coming from a place of perceived authority as truth.  Our ignorance must end if we are to survive.

As such, we commit to explore and evaluate the truth of each Sciescent Faith Statement, and upon completion, to embrace and commit to live our lives with an unwavering commitment to these universal, logical truths. If we cannot commit fully, then we accept that there is no place for us with the Sciescent Faith and we will not burden the Community with our presence. And if at any time, our Church community takes a stand in opposition to any Sciescent Faith Statement, we will denounce - in writing - our Church's position as antithetical to the truth, even if we continue to attend that Church.
